Giving 101 - Bible Studies on
Christian Giving
These
six Bible studies on Christian
giving have been written to help
educate Christians about their need,
as God's children, to give and to
encourage them to grow in their
giving. Jesus said, "Freely
you have received, freely give"
(Matthew 10:8). In the words
of Billy Graham, "God has given us
two hands, one to receive with and
the other to give with." As
nice as it is to receive gifts, it
is even more meaningful to give.
Finding joy in our giving, we begin
to understand why Jesus said, "it is
more blessed to give the to receive"
(Acts 20:35)
The
design of these studies should be
helpful to those who may have little
knowledge of Scripture as well as
for those who are students of the
Bible. Both the written text
and the discussion questions within
each study are educational and
thought-provoking.
