Ronald J. Chewning is a certified financial planner who owns and operates Stewardship Advisors, which provides churches with year-round stewardship material, and he serves as stewardship executive for the English District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. 

Phyllis J. Chewning, who is a joint writer of the stewardship resources, has taught in both public and Christian schools.
